Giving FAQ's

Can I schedule recurring or one-time contributions?
Yes. Through Pushpay, you have the option of either making a one-time contribution or setting up a recurring contribution. For a one-time contribution, you can designate that the contribution should be made immediately or on a specific date. For recurring contributions, you can schedule the contributions to come out of your bank account on the date(s) specified by you.

What if my account information changes or I want to adjust the date or amount of a contribution?
You can edit or delete a future scheduled contribution at any time including the account contributions are taken from, date, frequency and amount.

Is online giving secure?
We've taken steps to ensure that the giving process is safe and secure from beginning to end. All of your giving data is secured by SSL encryption. SSL is an acronym for "Secure Socket Layer", a security protocol that provides communications privacy over the Internet. It is the same technology used by banks and e-commerce companies such as Amazon.com to keep your information safe and secure during transactions.

What types of bank accounts can I give from?
You can give online from your checking or savings account via an E-Check (ACH) transaction or by using your MasterCard, Visa or Discover. (New Hope Church does not encourage the irresponsible use of credit cards. We offer the opportunity to make a purchase or donate by credit card as a convenience to those who manage their finances in this way. We encourage you to prayerfully consider your resources before making a credit card purchase or donation of any kind.)

Can I use a debit card?
You can use a debit check card from Visa or MasterCard, but true debit cards are not accepted through the Fellowship One system due to the sensitivity of securely requesting a Personal Identification Number (PIN). ACH bank drafts can be used instead for true debits.

Are there any fees involved with giving online?
You as an individual will not pay any fees with an online gift. In addition, online gifts are a more cost efficient way for the church to process donations.

Can I review my donation history online?
Yes. The site will allow you to view the complete history of your contributions given either online or otherwise. Once you've created an account, you will able to contribute immediately. However, for security purposes, before you can see any past contributions, we must manually connect your online account with your previous information. This is a one-time process when you initially create your account. After that, you can view your history at any time.

Can I designate my gift to a particular cause?
Yes. You can designate your gift to go toward tithes and offerings (General Fund), debt reduction or the oneighty Ministry. We may also add additional causes at specific times.
